Why should I have one?
Better Access media centres are like a “TiVO” on steroids! Optimised for KnoppMyth for use as a HDTV system, they have more than enough computing power for everything MythTV offers today and in the foreseeable future. On top of all that, they retain their identity as a general-purpose computer.
You should have one if:
- You want a great HDTV hardware platform for MythTV. Our machines are optimised for broadcast HDTV using the European DVB standard we use here in Australia.
- You want the freedom to do what you want. Better Access media centres do not lock down what you can do with them.
- You want an easily installed, pre-optimised KnoppMyth system.
- You want free software.
